THE ANNUAL CONTINUING EDUCATION CONFERENCE
For Deacons, Deaconesses and Parish Ministry Assistants is scheduled at two different locations in 2010. The first one will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 760 Victoria Street, Costa Mesa, CA on Saturday, October 16. The second one will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 820 East Plaza Circle, Litchfield Park, AZ on Saturday October 23.
Presenters will be Rev. Dr. Mike Gibson at Costa Mesa and Rev. David Bolte at Litchfield Park. These two sites have been chosen in order to make travel more convenient for those attending the conferences this fall. Information will be sent out soon and will also be available on the District Web Site. Make plans now to join as we come together for fellowship, study and learn from two great presenters.

2010 PACIFIC SOUTHWEST DISTRICT FALL PASTORS’ CONFERENCE

The annual Pacific Southwest District Fall Pastors’ Conference is going to float in a new direction this year. The conference is scheduled to go out to sea aboard Carnival Paradise on a 4 day Baja Cruise. It is extremely important to make reservations for this cruise as soon as possible. This will ensure your place on the cruise and also assist the conference committee in reserving the appropriate conferencing spaces. Additionally, early registration ensures the best possible pricing. Please keep in mind that the cost is inclusive of room, food, entertainment and the conference.

Each year in the fall, the Pacific Southwest District hosts the annual New Pastors Orientation at the District Office in Irvine, CA. This event is intended for pastors and their wives who are new to the District. It is an opportunity to become better acquainted with you and to share with you the mission and ministry of the District as we seek to support you in your important work. We provide lodging and meals, and reimbursement for your travel expenses.
